Design for maintenance is considered an opportunity to optimize the life cycle cost of a product. The goal is to maximize the availability of the system at a given life cycle cost. This can be accomplished through various means for existing assets or products, such as optimizing spare parts inventory, using condition-based monitoring. We also offer maintenance design optimization in the design phase of projects so that predictive maintenance and condition-based maintenance can be ensured. By monitoring the condition of equipment, it is possible to predict when failures are likely to occur and schedule maintenance accordingly.
